Why Genderfluent?

Genderfluent is an app that provides real-time, quantitative feedback to make voice training easier and more fun for transgender individuals. Launched in 2021, it supports voice feminization and masculinization while contributing to research in the field.

Who created Genderfluent?

I created Genderfluent because of my personal experiences with seeing how hard voice training is for transgender individuals. I love designing and creating software products that are useful and a pleasure to use. I am a software engineer and bioinformatician by training, including a PhD from Cornell in computational biology. I live and work out of NYC with my husband. I am originally from Wisconsin.
