Why Genderfluent?
Transgender individuals often find voice training challenging. There is a lack of high-quality voice training apps tailored specifically for transgender individuals, and the costly alternative of speech therapy sessions combined with a plethora of online guides. Leveraging recent advances in artificial intelligence, Genderfluent was created to provide real-time, quantitative feedback for voice training, aiming to make the process more enjoyable and insightful. Launched in 2021, Genderfluent also supports research into voice feminization and masculinization, contributing to progress in this field.
Make training your voice more enjoyable
One of our big aims is to make the whole voice training experience more enjoyable for you. We do this via interactive and intuitive displays of your voice analytics, which you will be able to view in real-time as you record audio, or view it weeks to months later and see how you’ve progressed. We also want the tools for voice training to be easily available on your laptop or phone—wherever you are. We want the only barrier between you and the voice you want to be time and practice, not the software.
More quantitative insight into your voice
How do you know if your pitch and resonance are a good range? Does your voice sound male or female? Those are some of the questions you’ll be asking yourself as you train your voice. Genderfluent will answer those for you… and in real time to give you immediate feedback. We use a set of state-of-the-art deep learning models to power our voice analysis tools. So instead of relying on your own ear, a friend or family member, or a speech therapist (though those are all good options too!), you can use Genderfluent anytime and anywhere to measure your vocal traits. We try to make our algorithms as accurate and objective as possible. So when you are ready to take on the world with your new voice, you can do so confidently.
